La Grange Étable
La Grange Ètable offers self-catering holiday accommodation in the heart of the Northern Dordogne region in France. Situated just 45 minutes south of Limoges, guests can relax and unwind in one of three well-equipped properties that are bursting with traditional features. With a large open air pool, acres of woodland to explore and access to fantastic walking and cycle paths, it truly is the perfect location to enjoy a generous slice of French Life.
After purchasing the properties, owners Bob & Wendy got in touch to start a project with the aim to modernise the previous logo and relaunch a mobile-friendly website that reflected the new look and feel of their holiday accommodation. The design needed to clearly display prices, local information and availability. It was also important that the new website could be easily updated by the owners to save ongoing maintenance costs.
Built with Divi on WordPress, the new website and logo launched in 2017 with a design refresh carried out more recently. Now fully managed by the owners, the website continues to generate high-quality holiday booking enquiries from search engines. In addition, the site acts as a cornerstone of trusted information for potential guests who have found the accommodation through third party booking sites online.
Booking availability is easily kept up to date using a simple plugin that displays a calendar on key property pages. At the bottom of the design, an Instagram widget regularly fetches and displays new posts, giving website visitors a taste of everyday life and a sense of what the accommodation and location can offer when on holiday.

We inherited an old website for our gite business which needed updating: Mike was invaluable, from designing a new logo, to making the site much more user-friendly and viewable on mobiles. He is always on the end of the phone or an email for support and is very patient when explaining things to people like us who are not very tech savvy. We would recommend Mike to anyone who is looking for support when redesigning a website.
