The Natural Tent Company offer award-winning tipi tent hire for weddings and outdoor events. Based in Bedfordshire, their giant canvas tipis are weather-proof and can be joined together, offering space for up to 250 guests. From festivals to Christmas markets, the expert team works closely with clients to tailor the interiors to match each event’s theme.
After launching a revamped website design which unfortunately resulted in a dramatic decline of organic traffic, I was recommended to the team and approached with a brief to help stabilise the SEO decline and review their Google Ads account. To understand the cause of the site’s traffic loss, a migration recovery audit was carried out to see what changes had been made to the previous design.
From analysing content and deleted URLs to internal link structures and edited meta data, the audit uncovered significant SEO changes which were not considered during the redesign project. Each page of the audit clearly explained the issues and included a recommendation with notes about how to fix each issue alongside an estimate of time required.
A review of the PPC account uncovered budget being spent on broad-match keywords, low quality scores and a lack of location-based targeting.
Fixing each technical SEO issue dramatically recovered rankings and optimising the PPC account vastly improved the quality of website enquiries. The site is no longer live after a recent buy-out.
